A Lifelong Fascination with Space
Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by space, science, and discovery.
That passion became even more meaningful in 2006 when I had the opportunity to work on a NASA-related project at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, through Oracle Consulting Services.
It was an experience I will never forget.
Whenever family or friends visited Florida, I always looked forward to taking them to Kennedy Space Center. No matter how many times I visited, I never grew tired of it. Every trip reminded me of humanity’s incredible ability to dream, explore, and achieve what once seemed impossible.
Space has a unique way of inspiring us to think beyond our own limitations.
An Unexpected Opportunity
Years later, my passion for space led to another unforgettable experience.
I was contacted by Susan “Susy” Jackson from LinkedIn with an invitation to participate in a special project related to SpaceX.
The question was simple:
“If SpaceX offered you the opportunity to travel around the Moon, would you go?”
Without hesitation, my answer was yes.
I recorded a short video sharing my thoughts, never expecting anything more than the opportunity to participate.
To my surprise, LinkedIn selected my video to be featured in an Editors’ Picks SlideShare, allowing my story to reach a much wider audience.
It was an unexpected honor and a reminder that sharing your authentic passions can open doors you never imagined.
Dreams Have No Boundaries
When I reflect on my journey, I often think about where it all began.
I grew up in Tamil Nadu, India, dreaming of opportunities beyond what seemed possible at the time.
Through education, perseverance, and a willingness to embrace new challenges, I eventually built a career in technology, worked on projects supporting organizations such as NASA, became a motivational speaker and comedian, and continued pursuing opportunities that combined my love of learning with my curiosity about the world.
Every step reinforced one important lesson:
Never stop dreaming.
Inspired by Innovation
I have always admired people who are willing to challenge conventional thinking and pursue bold ideas.
Organizations like NASA and SpaceX continue to inspire millions by expanding the boundaries of science, engineering, and human exploration.
Innovation begins with curiosity.
Progress begins with someone asking, “What if?”
Keep Looking Up
Whether my journey leads to another technology project, a comedy stage, or perhaps one day even closer to space, I remain grateful for every opportunity to learn and grow.
Life has taught me that extraordinary opportunities often begin with a simple curiosity and the courage to say “yes.”
Continue learning.
