He started his career in India working as a Lower Division Clerk with the Ministry of Education and Culture in New Delhi. He also worked as a Data Entry Operator with the Income Tax Department in Madras.

In 1996, Sri arrived in the United States on an H-1B work visa.

For Sri, America became the place where years of hard work, curiosity, and determination came together.
He eventually made Orlando, Florida his home and began building a career that would span decades.
From Rejection to Oracle Leadership
One of the most powerful parts of Sri’s journey is the full-circle moment he experienced with Oracle.
Earlier in his career, when he tried to submit his resume at Oracle India, a gatekeeper would not allow him to enter.
Years later, Sri would go on to work for Oracle Corporation in the United States for 16 years.
That transformation captures an important lesson:
A rejection is not always the end of the story.
Sometimes, it is simply a delay before a much bigger opportunity.
At Oracle Consulting Services, Sri progressed through roles including Database Administrator, Project Manager, and Project Director. His work involved solving complex technology challenges, supporting enterprise systems, and helping organizations improve their processes.
Oracle also sponsored his Master’s degree in Information Security, recognizing his dedication and potential.
Reaching NASA Through Technology
For someone fascinated by space, one of Sri’s most meaningful career experiences was contributing to technology projects connected with NASA.
Through Oracle Corporation, Sri worked with United Space Alliance, where NASA was the client. His work supported technology efforts connected to rocket-launching programs.
For many people, NASA represents exploration, innovation, and impossible dreams becoming reality.
For Sri, it represented something deeply personal.
A person who started as a clerk in India eventually found himself contributing to technology connected with one of the world’s greatest scientific organizations.

He became actively involved in the Oracle user community, serving as Membership Chair for the Oracle Applications Users Group (OATUG, formerly OAUG) and being elected for two consecutive years.
He also served in leadership roles with the Florida Oracle Applications Users Group.
These positions reflected more than technical expertise.
They showed his ability to connect people, share knowledge, support communities, and contribute beyond his daily responsibilities.
Technology may be built with systems, but it succeeds because of people.
A Voice for Motivation and Positivity
Over time, Sri’s journey expanded beyond technology.
He became a speaker, writer, entertainer, and motivator.
