A Day in St. Petersburg: Good Views, Good Company & New Memories
Sometimes you don’t need a big plan to have a good time. A little change of scenery, a beautiful waterfront, and good company can make a trip memorable.
Recently, Shikha and I spent some time in St. Petersburg, Florida, enjoying the sights, the waterfront, and a boat tour with Tampa Bay Watch.
One of the highlights was getting out on the water and seeing the area from a different perspective. We enjoyed the boat ride, the views of the skyline, and watching the other boats and activity around Tampa Bay.
We also had the opportunity to meet some of the wonderful people who helped make the boat trip enjoyable. A special thank you to the Tampa Bay Watch team, including Capt. Mel (who was a very nice lady) and Charley (was our tour guide – outstanding job!), for making the experience a good one.
Of course, a trip is always better when you can share it with someone you love. Shikha and I enjoyed taking pictures, exploring, and simply spending time together.
There were plenty of interesting sights along the way — from the waterfront and boats to street performers and the many restaurants and places that give St. Petersburg its character.
I always believe that life is made up of these small moments. We work, we take care of responsibilities, and we keep moving. But sometimes we need to stop and enjoy what is around us.
A beautiful view.
A good boat ride.
A little laughter.
And time together.
